Job summary

ELCA Switzerland and Europe seeks a Senior Cloud & Data Security Consultant who will advise, design and implement cloud and data security solutions for leading Swiss organizations. You’ll lead risk analyses, design data classification policies, and architect cloud security deployments across multiple projects.

In this senior role, you’ll support pre-sales, respond to RfPs, and guide clients on governance and zero-trust adoption while mentoring a motivated team and delivering high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Purview (data governance, security & risk).
• Proven track record facilitating functional workshops and translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex security concepts clearly.
• Strong written and spoken English, plus German or French (bonus).

Our profile:

Required:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent (university, HES, polytechnic)
• Deep hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Purview (data governance, security, compliance & risk)
• Proven track record facilitating functional workshops and translating business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent communication skills — you can make complex security concepts clear and compelling to any audience
• Strong written and spoken English, plus German or French (both is a bonus)

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of zero‑trust architectures and modern information security principles
• Cloud certifications: Microsoft SC‑400/401, AWS, GCP, or CISSP
