Job summary

Nemensis AG is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a temporary placement in Schachen LU. You will act as the go-to specialist for automation strategies across DCS, MES, SCADA, ensuring GMP-compliant operations and smooth product transfers.

The role requires 5+ years in automation/engineering in biologics/pharma, DeltaV experience, and good knowledge of validation (GAMP 5). English at C1. Start 01.12.2026; duration to 28.10.2027.

Qualifications

• Degree in a life-science or engineering discipline, or at least 5 years of hands-on automation experience.
• Strong English skills (C1) in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to specialist for automation and control strategies (DCS, MES, SCADA) across manufacturing systems ensuring GMP-compliant operations.
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues to boost performance and support new product introductions.
• Lead transfer of process technologies from development into GMP-ready operations.
