Job summary

NVIDIA in Zürich is seeking a Senior Developer Technology Engineer to advance AI workloads by researching and developing GPU-accelerated techniques for deep learning and related domains. You will collaborate with experts across industry and academia to analyze, optimize AI/HPC algorithms for CPU and GPU architectures and share findings publicly.

The role requires an advanced degree in CS/CE, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong C/C++ and parallel programming skills

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related computationally focused science degree (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of relevant experience in software development or research work.
Programming fluency in C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms and software development.
Background that includes parallel programming, e.g., CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, pthreads, etc.
Hands on experience doing low-level performance optimizations.
In-depth expertise with CPU and GPU architecture fundamentals.
Effective communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

Research and develop techniques to GPU accelerate workloads in deep learning, machine learning or other AI domains.
Analyze and optimize complex AI and HPC algorithms for optimal AI solutions on CPU and GPU architectures.
Publish and/or present optimization techniques in developer blogs or conferences to engage and educate the developer community.
Influence design of next-generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models with NVIDIA teams.
