Job summary

u-blox AG in Thalwil, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Abacus ERP Specialist / Inhouse Consultant to lead Abacus ERP governance and drive the Version 26 transformation across Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners to translate needs into practical, scalable ERP solutions and ensure a standardized, secure process-led design. This on-site role offers hybrid work options and a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on Abacus ERP experience with governance and ownership.
• Strong knowledge of ERP governance across finance, operations and supply chain.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional designs and implementation inputs.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional ERP activities with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to simplify complexity and propose practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence without formal authority.
• Fluent in English and German to collaborate across local and international teams.
• Valid eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU citizenship or Swiss permit).

Responsibilities

• Own senior functional governance, configuration quality, setup and optimization of Abacus ERP modules.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, backlog items, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Lead functional design and governance for the Abacus Version 26 transformation project.
• Shape fit-to-standard process design and reduce unnecessary customization.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and secure alignment on fit-to-standard decisions.
• Provide functional input for integrations, data flows and reporting dependencies.
• Support testing, release readiness, incident resolution and continuous ERP improvement.
