Overview

For a client in the rail transport industry, we are looking for an experienced security system engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of existing global network security solutions
• Monitoring and analysis of security events
• Implementation of hardware and software changes to firewall systems as part of change management
• Collaboration on exciting projects
• Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and existing “best practices”
• Processing of various 3rd level support requests and assistance from our on-call team

Qualifications:

• Completed computer science education or several years of professional experience in the IT security environment
• Professional experience with firewall systems in local networks or similar
• Good technical know-how in several of the following areas: Network Security, Microsoft Windows, firewall infrastructures and AV solutions
• Fluent in German and English
• Good communication skills and self-organization
• Willingness to travel
