Job summary

Mosaic School in Geneva is recruiting a canteen assistant to supervise children during lunch and lead playtime activities. The role focuses on safe, caring, and structured mealtime experiences for children aged 3 to 12.

The position requires a calm, punctual, and responsible approach, with the ability to work 2 hours daily, four days a week, and to collaborate closely with staff and the Canteen Manager to support school life.

Qualifications

• Diploma in animation or childhood education preferred.
• Experience with children’s activities and school supervision also acceptable.
• Calm, caring and exemplary demeanor.
• Punctuality and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Appropriate dress and vocabulary for children.
• Commitment to teamwork and discretion.
• Ability to listen, observe and take responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of children aged 3 to 12 during lunch breaks.
• Ensure a calm, friendly mealtime atmosphere.
• Lead playtime activities and supervise transitions to classes.
• Maintain safety and follow the direction of the Canteen Manager.
• Contribute to the educational project as part of the team.
• Encourage curiosity about meals and nutrition.
