Job summary

Orting School District is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide direct and consultative OT services under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will implement OT plans and IEP services, document student progress, and collaborate with school staff and families to support students'' access to educational programs.

The role requires coordinating with the supervising OT, maintaining records, preparing therapy spaces and materials, and communicating effectively with teachers

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school-based OT practices and student development.
• Ability to document services and progress data for IEPs.
• Ability to communicate with staff, families, and students.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students per IEP and OT plan.
• Implement activities to support participation in school routines and skills.
• Assist with screenings, collect observations, and support data collection.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and communicate changes to the OT.
• Maintain accurate records in District systems and prepare therapy materials.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support participation.
• Attend IEP and multidisciplinary meetings as requested.
