Extendicare in Canada is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide direct resident care, manage medication administration, and document care in line with regulatory standards. You will work with the health and wellness team to complete assessments, care plans, and coordinate conferences, transfers, and education for residents and families. Strong leadership and delegation skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Registered Nurse with active license.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Strong written and verbal communication and care coordination skills.
• Ability to delegate to unregulated care providers and supervise team members.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct resident care and medication administration.
• Complete and update care assessments, service plans, and documentation.
• Coordinate with the Director of Health and Wellness and care team on move-ins, transfers and conferences.
• Supervise and delegate nursing and medication duties to care providers in compliance with policies.
