We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager to join our client’s team and play a key role in enhancing their enterprise risk framework, ensuring they effectively identify, assess, and manage risks across all areas of their business.

About the Job
  • Support the development and ongoing refinement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, policies, and processes.
  • Identify, measure, monitor, and report key risks across insurance, investment, operational, and strategic categories.
  • Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses to support decision‑making and capital management.
  • Monitor compliance with risk appetite, tolerances, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, local prudential standards).
  • Collaborate with actuarial, finance, operations, and investment teams to embed risk culture and ensure robust risk governance.
  • Prepare regular risk reports for senior management, Risk Committee, and the Board.
  • Support Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and stress testing processes.
  • Contribute to incident management, control testing, and improvement of internal risk controls.
About the Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, or related field (postgraduate or professional qualification preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in risk management within life insurance, reinsurance, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of insurance risk drivers, capital management, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator who can influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in risk management tools and reporting systems.
  • German and English language fluency a must.
