Job summary

On Zurich is seeking a Retail Financial Controlling Partner on a 10-11 month fixed-term contract to guide planning, reporting, and analysis for the global Retail business.

You will lead budgeting and forecasts, own month‑end and quarter‑end reporting, provide actionable insights on sales, costs and margins, and collaborate with Retail Operations and cross‑functional teams under the Head of Retail Controlling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent business qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within Controlling or a related finance field.
• Proven background in financial modeling, forecasting, analytical problem-solving, and reporting.
• Demonstrated adaptability to navigate ambiguity and deliver solutions-oriented outcomes.
• Track record of partnering effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead retail planning cycles (budget, forecasts, and long-range plan) with regional inputs.
• Own financial reporting across month-end, quarter-end, and long-term cycles.
• Drive actionable insights on sales, costs and profitability, focusing on drivers.
• Elevate planning and reporting tools (including Anaplan) and ensure data integrity.
• Partner with Retail Operations and cross-functional teams to support channel growth.
