von Rotz Group in Switzerland is seeking a Deputy Team Leader Hospitality & Housekeeping to support the team leadership, organize and manage the housekeeping team, and actively contribute to daily operations across hotel, restaurant and event spaces.

You will oversee a team of around 8 employees, allocate daily tasks, monitor cleaning quality and performance, and assist with planning, inventories and administrative duties while maintaining high cleanliness standards in a seven-day operation.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of training as Housekeeping Specialist EFZ, Hotel Specialist EFZ, or equivalent.
• Several years of practical experience in hospitality, housekeeping or cleaning.
• Some leadership experience and ability to guide and organize employees.
• Willingness to actively participate in cleaning tasks and maintain quality.
• Good eye for cleanliness and order; independent and reliable.

Aufgaben

• Ensure cleanliness and order across all areas including rooms, lounges, restaurant, event spaces and showrooms.
• Take on cleaning tasks across large establishment and assist in daily operations.
• Support leadership in managing a team of about 8 employees and allocate daily tasks.
• Monitor cleaning quality and ensure standards are met.
• Assist with work planning and monitor working hours.
• Handle orders, inventory management and administrative tasks.
• Act as deputy during holidays and absences and lead the team.
• Work in a 7-day operation, deployed as deputy about 2 days per week.

As Deputy Team Leader Hospitality & Housekeeping, you support our team leadership in organising and managing the housekeeping team while actively pitching in yourself. Together with your team, you ensure cleanliness and order throughout our entire hotel and catering operation, keeping an overview even with many different areas and large cleaning surfaces.

Your tasks:

• Together with the team leadership, you ensure cleanliness and order throughout the entire operation – from hotel rooms and lounges to restaurant, event and banquet rooms, as well as showroom, stairwell and other public areas
• You actively participate in day-to-day operations and take on cleaning tasks yourself in the various areas of our large establishment
• You support the team leadership in managing and organising a team of around 8 employees and sensibly allocate daily tasks
• You check the cleaning quality and work execution, ensuring our cleanliness standards are maintained
• You assist with work and duty planning as well as monitoring working hours
• You take on various administrative tasks, especially ordering, inventory management and organisational work
• During holidays and absences of the team leadership, you act as deputy and independently lead the team
• You work in a 7-day operation and are deployed as deputy team leader approximately 2 days per week under normal conditions

What you bring:

• You have completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ, Hotel Specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of practical experience in hospitality, housekeeping or cleaning
• Ideally, you have some leadership experience and enjoy guiding, supporting and organising employees
• You like to actively participate, pitch in yourself and are not afraid of cleaning tasks
• You have a good eye for cleanliness, order and quality and value carefully executed work
• You work independently, reliably and organised, keeping an overview even with many different tasks
• You have good German language skills and present yourself to employees in a friendly, clear and confident manner
• You are flexible and resilient and willing to work in a 7-day operation with irregular working hours
