Zusammenfassung

tilia Foundation for Long-Term Care in Bern is seeking a Head of Residential Area (80-100%) to lead a 28-bed unit and supervise 22 staff, including students and trainees. You will ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and contribute to daily operations at tilia Elfenau, working at the interface of acute care, rehabilitation, and complex long-term care.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH or FaGe long-term care or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Enjoyment of long-term care and leading and developing employees.
• Leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Completed leadership training or willingness to undertake appropriate further training.
• interRAI LTCF knowledge is an advantage or willingness to acquire this qualification.
• Resident-oriented, responsible, solution-focused and assertive personality with a strong quality awareness.
• Good communication and leadership skills as well as understanding of economic contexts.
• Willingness to actively shape changes and take responsibility.

Aufgaben

• Lead professional and resident-oriented care for 28 residents.
• Oversee personnel, professional and organisational leadership of a team of 22 employees.
• Provide professional leadership of students and trainees.
• Plan needs- and competence-based personnel deployment (PEP) for the residential area.
• Ensure and further develop high quality of care and support.
• Coordinate with specialist and expert teams.
• Implement defined care processes, quality standards and guidelines in the residential area.
• Engage in care and support activities and maintain regular contact with residents and relatives.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team and leadership culture.
• Participate in change and development processes at the location.
