ETH Zürich is seeking a Research Engineer for the AI Characters team in the Computer Graphics Laboratory. This role involves developing interactive AI avatar platforms like Digital Einstein, integrating advanced technologies such as real-time graphics and large language models.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, international environment, providing technical support at prominent international events while leading the development of next-generation features.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
• Solid hands-on experience with Unity.
• Experience with AR development frameworks such as ARKit or Meta Quest.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and Python-based backend development.
• Interest in hardware prototyping and interactive installation design.

• Develop Unity frontend for Digital Einstein, including AR experiences.
• Integrate LLMs to enhance dialogue quality and multi-turn interaction.
• Develop website for broader public accessibility of Digital Einstein.
