Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an SAP Reinsurance Consultant / Business Analyst (FS-RI, FS-CD) for an international client. The role is 100% remote with occasional travel to client sites across Europe, and a 6-month freelance engagement starting ASAP.

You will work as a functional consultant/BA on SAP FS-RI for reinsurance management, integrating with FS-CD for collections and payments, and interfacing with FI-GL. Fluent English and European residency are required.

Qualifications

Strong reinsurance business knowledge: treaty and facultative, proportional and non-proportional, assumed and ceded business, bordereaux and technical accounting.
Hands-on SAP FS-RI (Reinsurance Management / S/4HANA Insurance) configuration experience, at least at a foundational level.
Exposure to SAP FS-CD (Collections & Disbursements): premium collection, claims and commission payments, dunning and payment runs.
Understanding of how FS-RI, FS-CD and FI-GL integrate.
Background as a functional consultant or business analyst on SAP insurance projects.
Fluent English and experience working with international clients.
Based in Europe and open to occasional travel.

Responsibilities

Support an international reinsurance client on SAP S/4HANA Insurance FS-RI landscape as a functional consultant/BA.
Cover treaty administration, cessions and technical accounting, with integration into FS-CD for collections and payments.
Collaborate with cross-border teams and coordinate with client stakeholders across regions.
