Job summary

up4distribution GmbH is seeking creative and detail-oriented individuals to develop, test, and optimize prompts for AI systems. This fully remote freelance position focuses on improving performance, accuracy, and usability of AI-generated results.

As part of the role, you will work with LLMs, improve prompts for accuracy and relevance, and document workflows and best practices. German and English writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication in German and English.
• Ability to write clear, structured, and precise instructions.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques (few-shot, chain-of-thought, RAG).
• Basic knowledge of APIs or scripting is a plus.
• Experience in content writing or AI-related writing is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and optimize prompts for LLMs.
• Improve prompts for accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement requirements.
• Test and evaluate AI outputs and refine prompts.
