Job summary

Energy Vault in Switzerland is seeking a Project Manager – Battery Storage Systems (m/f/x) to lead projects from contract signing to commissioning, ensuring technical, electrical, and site aspects are delivered on schedule. You will be the primary interface to the client and coordinate internal teams as well as external contractors to implement solutions safely, on time, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical or energy infrastructure projects, ideally batteries, UPS, renewables, or industrial power systems.
• Proven ability to manage projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent scheduling and resource planning; knowledge of Primavera/MSP is a plus.
• Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage design principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead battery storage projects from execution to commissioning and handover.
• Be the main client contact and lead reviews and contract discussions across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and engineering, procurement, and construction activities with cross-functional teams.
• Enable financial reporting and implement cost-control measures.
• Support business development, estimation, and budgeting for future projects in Switzerland.
• Monitor electrical system design, including LV/MV interfaces, cabling, routing, and protection within contract and standards.
• Oversee technical documentation, layouts, and single-line diagrams with engineering teams.
• Coordinate on-site activities, equipment delivery, logistics, installation readiness, progress tracking, and testing oversight.
• Manage suppliers, subcontractors and external inspectors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and respond to deviations in schedule, cost or scope.
• Support commissioning and handover processes for smooth operation start.
