Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company in Switzerland, is seeking a GCP FHIR Architect to design secure, scalable healthcare cloud solutions. You will lead end-to-end architectures across HL7 FHIR, Cloud Healthcare API, BigQuery, Dataflow, and security controls to meet regulatory requirements and enable high-throughput interoperability.

You will own architecture and data modeling from ingestion to delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to translate clinical needs into scalable cloud

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud architecture with 3+ years in GCP healthcare.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of HL7 FHIR STU3 & R4.
• Strong experience with GCP services: Cloud Healthcare API, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, IAM.
• Experience with HL7 v2, C-CDA, DICOM, X12 EDI formats.
• Experience with integration engines like Mirth Connect or Rhapsody.
• Strong SQL and data modeling for relational and NoSQL healthcare data.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance in healthcare environments.
• Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Google Cloud reference architectures for clinical data using HL7 FHIR.
• Architect healthcare data solutions with GCP services and related tools.
• Develop scalable, high-throughput workflows for data processing and interoperability.
• Build pipelines to transform legacy formats to FHIR resources and JSON.
• Design data mappings and integration patterns across clinical systems.
• Apply cloud security architectures with IAM, KMS, and DLP controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, integration, and data engineering.
