Job summary

Cisco Isovalent, now part of Cisco, Switzerland, seeks an experienced Release Manager to lead end-to-end release processes and deliver a unified customer experience.

You will coordinate with multi-functional teams, automate workflows, streamline installation timelines, and collaborate with development to build and maintain reliable software using Golang and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 6+ years of experience in release management or a similar role within a software development environment
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and a programming/scripting language such as Golang (preferred) or Python

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
• 6+ years of experience in release management or a similar role within a software development environment
• Experienced with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes or OpenShift, and a programming/scripting language such as Golang (preferred) or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with Golang strongly preferred. Ability to read and comprehend Golang and solve or debug Golang code strongly desired.
• Certifications in Kubernetes, project management, or related fields
• Solid release management experience for cloud service providers is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse team environments
