Job summary

Vontobel in Zurich (moving to Baar in 2030) seeks a seasoned compliance professional to shape the group-wide regulatory foresight framework, lead cross-functional reviews, and provide senior management reporting on regulatory changes.

You will support timely handling of FINMA findings, assess requirements in Supervision & Controls, and coordinate regulatory inquiries across the group, advising stakeholders and the General Counsel.

Qualifications

• Experienced compliance or regulatory professional within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and engage senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with experience coaching and guiding colleagues.
• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group-wide regulatory foresight framework and cross-functional reviews for regulatory changes.
• Ensure and support timely fulfillment of internal and external audit / FINMA findings and issues.
• Assess regulatory requirements within the domain of Supervision & Controls.
• Support the General Counsel and Head Supervision with material and formal preparation of meetings and related tasks.
• Coordinate ad hoc regulatory inquiries and inputs from stakeholders across the Vontobel Group and advise on regulatory interactions.
