IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a (Senior) Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis to lead country-level analysis within multiple crisis contexts. All of IMPACT’s programs are implemented in support of humanitarian coordination structures. IMPACT’s team comprises specialists in data collection, management, and analysis, as well as experts in humanitarian response, GIS, and remote sensing.
We are currently looking for various (Senior) Analysts – Acute Needs Analysis to support our teams in multiple locations.
Position: (Senior) Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis
Contract duration: Up to 6 months
Starting Date: Mid‑September 2026
Location: Multiple country office locations across LAC, MENA, Sub‑Saharan Africa (see below location preference to be indicated on applicant form).
In response to the shifting humanitarian financing landscape, IMPACT is placing greater emphasis on producing comparable, decision‑oriented analysis products to inform humanitarian prioritization. This position will be working on the second round of the Acute Needs Analysis (ANA) – a flagship analytical output that summarizes available data to provide a concise, actionable understanding of risk of loss of life across geographies and population groups within a crisis in order to feed into key decision‑points, such as the HPC and donor allocations.
The (Senior) Analyst – Acute Needs Analysis will be responsible for producing this analytical product at country level. This includes reviewing and synthesizing data, conducting structured analysis using IMPACT’s global analytical guidance, and producing a short, high‑impact external brief. The analyst will work closely with GIS, data, and design colleagues to incorporate visual elements into the final output. The final analytical product will play a key role in informing humanitarian prioritization decisions.
Note, roles can be at Senior Analyst or Analyst level, based on the experience of the candidate.
