Qnami, based in Basel, is seeking an FPGA System Engineer to drive the next generation of quantum microscopy instruments. You will design high-performance real-time FPGA systems and bridge hardware with software using RFSoC technology and embedded Linux.

Working with physicists and software engineers, you will own system architecture decisions, validate designs on hardware, and push for optimized timing and reliability in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing FPGA-based systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain FPGA-based real-time systems for signal generation, acquisition, and processing.
• Develop FPGA designs on RFSoC platforms and optimize timing, throughput, and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build hardware-software interfaces using embedded Linux and Python.
