Omya AG in Switzerland is seeking a Raw Material Performance Engineer to advance mineral processing and quarry operations through technical expertise and innovative approaches. You will work with operations, geology, mining, and engineering teams to improve plant performance and evaluate deposits.

The role involves commissioning, optimization, troubleshooting, process audits, and evaluating new technologies to build solid business cases.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in mineral processing or mining; plant commissioning a plus.
• Knowledge of crushing, screening, sorting and separation processes.
• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of mineral processing technologies, including crushing, screening, sorting, and separation processes
• Fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in international teams
• Self-driven, collaborative, and capable of managing projects independently.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
