Stadler Rail AG is seeking motivated talents to shape the mobility of tomorrow. The role involves RAMS management and security activities for CBTC and signaling systems, plus creating and reviewing safety and security documentation.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and have experience with functional safety and cybersecurity standards, with a proactive, independent work style and fluent in two of English, German, or French. This is an on-site Swiss position based near Zürich.

Qualifikationen

  • Engineering degree (BSc or MSc) or similar background.
  • Experience applying functional safety standards (e.g. EN50126, EN50716, EN50129, MIL-882, IEEE, ARP, 26262).
  • Experience applying security standards (e.g. TS 50701, NIST) is a plus.
  • Experience in certification processes for railway signaling applications.
  • Open, communicative, and flexible personality with independent, goal‑ oriented work style.
  • High motivation to learn new technologies, processes and tools.
  • Fluent in at least two of English, German, French.

Aufgaben

  • Manage RAMS activities for CBTC or other signalling systems.
  • Manage Security (incl Cybersecurity) activities for CBTC or other signaling systems.
  • Create safety and security documentation (e.g. Safety/Security Plan, Risk Assessment, Hazard or TV analysis & Safety/Security Case).
  • Perform Verification, Validation and Quality assurance activities.
  • Assist with preparation and review of approval documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with CBTC/ATC/ATO/CWS system approvals by regulatory authorities and assessors.
  • Engage in other RAMS / Security / V&V / Quality management activities of the Division Signalling.
