Expleo Switzerland is seeking an electrical engineer in French-speaking Switzerland, canton of Vaud, to deliver electrical engineering activities across projects in compliance with railway standards.

You will define robust electrical solutions, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure changes are managed effectively. Applicants should have an engineering degree and railway electrical experience, with EN 50343 knowledge and tools such as E3, Ruplan, and ELSA.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in electrical/electrotechnics/electromechanical field.
• Proven experience in the railway electrical sector.
• Strong background in electrical components, wiring and train architectures.
• Experience with digital tools for electrical product development.
• Knowledge of EN 50343 standard.
• Rigor, autonomy, team spirit and collaboration with stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Manage changes to equipment such as substation control panels and related panels according to specs.
• Define robust, safe and reliable functional technical solutions.
• Select electrical components per parts list and project needs.
• Ensure compliance with EN 50343 railway standards.
• Maintain liaison with other departments (production, methods, systems engineering, RAMS).
• Act as the technical interface with electrical equipment suppliers.
• Support project activities through technical expertise and engineering coordination.
