Michael Page International is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance/Control professional to join a Zurich-based team delivering complex technical projects. You will uphold a Right First Time quality culture and support the Project Quality Manager with processes and training.

You will ensure compliance with QMS, conduct audits, review documents, and monitor supplier quality across multidisciplinary initiatives, with a focus on stakeholder communication and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in QA/QC within construction, infrastructure, or engineering environments.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of quality standards and documentation practices.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a strong quality culture with a Right First Time mindset across all project phases.
• Assist the Project Quality Manager in implementing quality processes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with project-specific quality management systems.
• Provide training and guidance on quality requirements and digital tools.
• Investigate non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits, and field assessments.
• Monitor compliance with Inspection & Test Plans and project requirements.
• Review quality documentation and control registers.
• Track supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Support project inspections, testing, witness points, and handover.
• Prepare and review quality plans, method statements, and submissions.
• Produce quality reports and performance metrics for stakeholders.

Job Description

• Promote and maintain a strong quality culture with a "Right First Time" mindset across all project phases.
• Support the Project Quality Manager in the implementation and execution of quality processes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with project-specific quality management systems and procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams and subcontractors on quality requirements and digital quality tools.
• Investigate non-conformities, quality deviations, and defects, while coordinating corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits, and field assessments throughout project execution.
• Monitor and verify compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), specifications, and project requirements.
• Review and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and control registers.
• Track and assess supplier and subcontractor quality performance.
• Participate in project inspections, testing activities, witness points, and handover processes.
• Support the preparation and review of quality plans, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Produce quality reports and performance metrics for project stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related disciplines).
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within construction, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering environments.
• Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and digital document management platforms.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German is considered a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and common project management/document control systems.
• Entrepreneurial and delivery-focused mindset with the drive to take ownership, solve problems proactively, and go the extra mile when required in high-paced project environments.
