Job summary

Planted is building a sustainable future by growing plant-based meat with clean ingredients. We seek a regulatory affairs and quality professional to ensure compliance across our product portfolio and supply chain.

You will manage declarations, product specifications, and packaging approvals, while qualifying suppliers and overseeing audits. English fluency is required; German is a plus. A structured, collaborative, and proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Food Science or a comparable discipline.
• 1–4 years of experience in the food industry, ideally in quality management or regulatory affairs.
• Experience with article data management, declaration creation, and specification handling.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus; additional languages are welcome.
• Strong teamwork, precise work style, and a structured mindset.
• Experience using AI to boost personal productivity.

Responsibilities

• You support printing data approvals for packaging materials and labels.
• You manage article data from raw materials to finished goods.
• You approve raw materials and packaging for compliance from the start.
• You qualify suppliers, conduct audits, manage co-manufacturers, and safeguard quality and food safety.
• You support Sales with customer requests, ensuring compliance and high satisfaction.
• You address internal and external inquiries on food law topics.
• You manage product-specific certifications such as the V-Label.
• You act as Food Fraud Officer, ensuring vigilance across our supply chain.

Your Mission

• You implement national and international food law requirements across our product portfolio
• You take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of declaration data and product specifications
• You support the approval of printing data for packaging material and labels
• You manage article data from raw materials to finished goods
• You approve raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring compliance from the start
• You qualify suppliers, conduct audits, manage co-manufacturers, and safeguard quality and food safety standards
• You support Sales with customer requests, requirements and contracts, ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction
• You respond to internal and external inquiries regarding food law topics
• You manage product-specific certifications such as the V-Label
• You act as the Food Fraud Officer within Planted, ensuring vigilance across our supply chain

You

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or a comparable discipline
• Bring 1-4 years of experience in the food industry, ideally in quality management and/or regulatory affairs
• Offer proven expertise in article data management, declaration creation, and specification handling
• Communicate fluently in English, German on top would be great; knowledge of other languages (e.g. French, Italian) is a plus
• Work precisely, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in independent roles
• Bring a structured, hands-on and future-oriented mindset with an enthusiasm for daily and ad-hoc support across the organization.
• Demonstrate proven ability to leverage AI to significantly increase personal productivity.
