Avaloq Group in Bioggio, Switzerland, invites an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO & Governance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will oversee an implementation program, ensure reporting quality, manage budgeting and resources, and collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance and Controlling across international delivery teams.

The role demands strong stakeholder management, cross-functional leadership, and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement in delivery

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Portfolio Management, or similar coordination in a complex IT environment.
• Experience in banking and financial services sector.
• Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills with forecasting, controlling, reporting and resource management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership.
• Experience in international and cross-functional environments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager – Project Management Officer & Governance to join our Bioggio office and support our Project Delivery team across various organizational topics.

Our mission is to orchestrate end-to-end transversal services that enable the successful delivery of client projects while ensuring the highest levels of quality, transparency, and customer satisfaction. As part of the Demand Management & PMO team, you will play a key role in supporting project and program governance, resource management, financial planning, and program reporting across an international delivery organization. You will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery Heads, PMOs, and senior stakeholders to drive operational excellence, foster collaboration, and continuously improve delivery processes, methodologies and tools.

Your key tasks

• Support the governance and management of an Implementation program, ensuring accurate reporting on scope, progress, financials, risks, issues, and resource utilization
• Manage demand and supply planning activities, including resource allocation, capacity planning, utilization tracking, and external resource onboarding
• Coordinate project and portfolio activities across multiple teams, projects, and international locations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery priorities
• Prepare and deliver high-quality management presentations, dashboards, and executive communications for senior leadership and steering committees
• Provide efficient and detail-oriented support throughout the project lifecycle
• Support budgeting, forecasting and controlling processes
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance and Controlling teams
• Support the onboarding of new team members
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to project management frameworks and reporting standards

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Portfolio Management, or a comparable coordination role within a complex IT environment
• Experience working in the banking and financial services environment
• Strong analytical, financial, and organizational skills, with proven experience in forecasting, controlling, reporting, and resource management
• Ability to work independently to established goals and timelines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and executive-level audiences
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office products

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Experience with agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as traditional project management frameworks
• Exposure to using Jira and Confluence
• Working knowledge of SAP
• PMP or PRINCE2 certifications
• Hands-on experience with project portfolio management tools, reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI), and resource planning systems
