Job summary

Leister Technologies AG in Central Switzerland seeks an electro-mechanically minded assembler to join our team. You will perform the preliminary and final assembly of electrical and mechanical assemblies, ensure quality, and conduct commissioning and functional testing of infrared systems on-site in Obwalden.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies and control units for infrared systems.
• Self-monitor and inspect own work and materials.
• Independently assemble products per specifications.
• Take technical responsibility for interim and final inspections.
• Commission and test completed systems.
• Prepare finished products for shipment.

• Responsible for the preliminary and final assembly of electrical and mechanical assemblies, as well as complete systems and control units in the field of infrared systems
• Self-monitoring of one’s own work, as well as inspection of previous work steps and the materials used
• Independently assemble products in accordance with specifications and instructions
• Technical responsibility for the interim and final inspection of assemblies and finished products
• Commissioning and functional testing of completed systems
• Assist in preparing finished products for shipment

Your Profile

• Completed technical vocational training as an electromechanic, electrical installer, automation technician, or mechanic with experience in electrical engineering and assembly, or many years of experience in a technical field
• Knowledge of electrical engineering
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• A person who is eager to learn, curious, and motivated
• Willingness to perform mass-production assembly work
• Very good verbal and written German skills; English skills
