Job summary

SICPA, a Swiss technology leader, is seeking a Product Owner for the Sovereign Data Platform to transform complex data into actionable insights that support decision-making.

You will collaborate with customers, stakeholders, data engineers, and engineers to prioritize features, define user stories, and deliver high-value analytics capabilities in a secure, regulatory environment. This role also involves working on dashboards and AI-powered insights across a global public sector context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Owner/Product Manager in data analytics or BI
• Experience with Agile/Scrum backlog management
• Strong data platforms, dashboards, analytics experience
• Translate business needs into clear user stories & acceptance criteria
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Collaborative work with data engineers, software engineers, UX, data scientists
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar tools
• Exposure to AI/ML or predictive analytics a plus
• Experience in government, compliance or public sector a plus
• Fluent in English/French a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a clear backlog for Sovereign Data Platform
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, sales, data scientists, and engineers
• Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Own and prioritize the delivery roadmap for high-value features
• Drive dashboards, analytics apps, anomaly detection, and AI recommendations
• Work with UX and engineering on intuitive experiences and data visualization
• Facilitate communication across stakeholders on priorities and risks
• Partner with data/software QA, DevOps, and data science through lifecycle
• Monitor adoption, feedback, and metrics to drive improvements
• Promote data-driven decisions and analytics best practices
