ABB Schweiz sucht eine engagierte Fachkraft im Bereich Prozessengineering, um die erfolgreiche Bereitstellung von Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) über die gesamte Value Chain hinweg voranzutreiben.

Als Verbindung zwischen Fertigungsstätten, Process Engineering-Teams, lokalen Projektmanagern und dem Process Competence Center übersetzen Sie Fertigungsanforderungen in standardisierte, skalierbare MES-Lösungen.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelorabschluss in Elektronik-, Industrie- oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen
• Gute Kenntnisse von Italienisch und Englisch
• Positive Grundhaltung, Eigeninitiative, Teamarbeit, Schnelligkeit und Lösungsorientierung; Bereitschaft Ergebnisse zu liefern und Verantwortung zu übernehmen

Aufgaben

• Unterstützung lokaler Projektleiter in allen Implementierungsphasen und Überwachung des Projektfortschritts sowie Eskalationspunkte im Bereich Prozess engineering.
• Koordination von Aktivitäten über Stakeholder hinweg, Erstellung und Präsentation von Statusberichten und Deploymentsdokumentationen.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Global Manufacturing Manager und dem Process Competence Center, Sicherstellung von Konsistenz in Deployments.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT und Supply Chain; Teilen von Best Practices und Beitrag zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der globalen MES-Roadmap.

Global Manufacturing Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities

This Process Engineering position plays a key role in driving the successful deployment and adoption of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across the Business Line. Acting as the link between Manufacturing Units, Process Engineering teams, local project managers, and the Process Competence Center, this position ensures that manufacturing requirements are effectively translated into standardized and scalable MES solutions.

The role combines process engineering expertise, project coordination, and continuous improvement leadership to support manufacturing transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to process harmonization across sites, promote best practices, and ensure alignment with global manufacturing standards while supporting project execution from analysis and design through implementation, validation, and stabilization phases.

By fostering collaboration among stakeholders and enabling data-driven process optimization, this role is instrumental in enhancing operational excellence, standardization, and the overall success of MES deployment programs.

The work model for the role is: onsite

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Support local project managers during all implementation phases and monitor project progress and escalation points related to process engineering activities.
• Coordinate activities across stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables, while preparing and presenting status updates, reports, and deployment documentation.
• Work closely with the Global Manufacturing Manager and Process Competence Center to ensure consistency across deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain, and at the same time, share lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of the global MES roadmap.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic, industrial or management engineering
• Good knowledge of Italian and English language
• Positive spirit, Proactivity, team working, speediness and problem solving orientation; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility assigned tasks and projects.
