Micro Crystal AG, part of the Swatch Group, is seeking a production engineer to monitor and improve wafer fabrication and photolithography processes in a cleanroom environment. You will work across R&D and production to implement robust improvements.

You will plan experiments, analyze process data, and drive sustainable changes across production, development, and experimental activities in Grenchen, with collaboration across international teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering from a university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent in microengineering, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Analytical mindset and affinity for working with process data to identify trends and draw conclusions.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with hands-on cleanroom experience.
• Flexible, committed, and communicative; able to work across production, development, and experimental activities.
• Good command of German, French, or English; proficiency in at least two languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse, and continuously improve existing production processes in wafer fabrication and photolithography (photoresist coating, photolithography, PVD, wet etching, and more)
• Develop, qualify, and introduce new production processes and process parameters
• Plan, coordinate, conduct, and evaluate experiments in close collaboration with the development and production management teams
• Perform systematic root-cause analyses of process deviations and implement sustainable improvement measures

Profile

• Degree in engineering from a university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent institution in microengineering, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or a comparable technical field
• Analytical mindset and affinity for working with process data, identifying trends and drawing meaningful conclusions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style, with enthusiasm for hands-on work in a cleanroom environment
• Flexible, committed, and communicative personality, comfortable working across production, development, and experimental activities
• Good command of German, French, or English; proficiency in at least two of these languages is an advantage
