Zusammenfassung

LGT Bank Switzerland, part of the LGT Private Banking and Asset Management Group, seeks a proactive Business Risk Manager to support onboarding and due diligence for client prospects, collaborating closely with Compliance and Front Office.

You will assess money laundering and reputational risks, propose risk-appropriate controls, and act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, contributing to sustainable growth within a Swiss private bank.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Business Risk Manager or similar first line of defense role in a Swiss bank.
• Higher education (e.g. Master’s degree in law or economics) with knowledge of international markets and regulatory environment and in performing background checks.
• Solution-driven mindset with the ability to balance risk and commercial considerations, translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for the Front in line with the bank’s risk appetite.
• Reliable, responsible and risk-aware with strong communication skills, structured working style, and ability to work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in German and English; additional language is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Act as the first point of contact for Relationship Managers on all due diligence queries during client prospecting and onboarding.
• Identify and assess money laundering, reputational and other business risks as part of the first line of defense and prepare written client risk assessments.
• Propose pragmatic, risk-appropriate controls and mitigation measures to support efficient and sustainable client onboarding within regulatory framework.
• Serve as a proactive advisor to the Front, challenging and influencing internal stakeholders and contributing to sustainable, scalable business growth.
