Techyon S.r.l. is hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer in Mendrisio, Switzerland, to translate customer technical needs into customized solutions based on our AI-driven inspection technology.

You will deliver demonstrations, trainings, and workshops while tailoring product capabilities to real applications. You will develop technical documentation, conduct evaluations, and coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to capture field feedback.

Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer technical requirements and translate them into solutions based on company's products and technologies
• Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and customer visits
• Configure and adapt standard product capabilities to address specific customer applications
• Plan and execute technical evaluations, benchmarks, and proofs of concept using representative customer products, samples, and data
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and supporting materials for commercial proposals
• Provide technical training to customers and sales teams
• Collect field feedback and translate it into functional requirements to be shared with Product Management and Engineering

Must Have:

• Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, presentations, and reports
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Professional fluency in English
• Willingness to travel internationally

Nice to have:

• Master's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficiency in at least one additional language besides English, particularly Italian, German, or French
• Previous experience in a pre-sales, application engineering, technical consulting, or customer-facing engineering role
• Experience in the inspection industry or with machine vision, automation, measurement, or metrology technologies
• Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI), solder paste inspection (SPI), industrial imaging, robotics, or 3D inspection
• For candidates with limited or no relevant professional experience, a PhD in a relevant technical discipline is considered a strong asset
