Job summary

Collège du Léman is seeking an enthusiastic extracurricular choir teacher to plan and deliver engaging sessions for Pre-K and Primary students (ages 3–10). The role focuses on musical development, vocal skills, rhythm and confidence-building, and supports the broader performing arts programme.

You design a structured scheme of work, maintain progress records, use ICT tools to communicate with families, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver school performances.

Qualifications

• Voice teaching qualification
• Previous experience of teaching across age group
• ICT literacy, both with educational tools and mainstream software
• English mother tongue or equivalent fluency. Working knowledge of French is an asset

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality choir sessions for Pre-K and Primary students (ages 3–10).
• Design and implement a structured programme based on a scheme of work.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and build confidence.
• Introduce students to songs, styles and harmonies suited to development.
• Prepare students for performances and showcases.
• Maintain records of lesson planning, engagement and development.
• Communicate with families using the school's tools.
• Organise, coordinate and supervise choir performances and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the performing arts programme.
