Team Leader Power Electronics Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Systems Engineering: Design traction power electronics converter and energy storage systems (ESS), while ensuring their seamless integration within vehicles. Your work will align with customer needs, industry standards, and internal specifications.
- Testing & Validation: Lead the specification, execution, analysis, and documentation of Type and Qualification tests to ensure robust system performance, focusing on traction converters and ESS for enhanced energy efficiency.
- Technical leadership: Develop deep expertise in core power engineering competencies, components, or tools to provide technical guidance for your peers. Optimize design processes and customer solutions independently or by collaborating in cross-functional specialist teams.
- Product Standardization: Contribute to the evolution of our traction product families through standardization, and continuous improvements. Leverage your expertise to drive innovation in the integration of traction converters with ESS.
Qualifications for the role
- Power Electronics Expertise: A qualified Power Electronics/Electrical Engineer with a solid background in power electronics design and engineering. Experience with traction converters and energy storage systems is an advantage.

Hauptaufgaben
- Fortgeschrittenes Systems Engineering: Entwicklung von Leistungselektronik-Konvertern und Energiespeichersystemen (ESS) für Traktionsanwendungen sowie Sicherstellung ihrer nahtlosen Integration in Fahrzeuge. Ihre Arbeit orientiert sich an Kundenanforderungen, Industriestandards und internen Spezifikationen.
- Testen & Validierung: Leitung der Spezifikation, Durchführung, Analyse und Dokumentation von Typ- und Qualifikationstests zur Sicherstellung einer robusten Systemleistung – mit Fokus auf Traktionskonverter und ESS für verbesserte Energieeffizienz.
- Technische Führung: Aufbau tiefgehender Expertise in zentralen Power-Engineering-Kompetenzen, Komponenten oder Tools, um Ihre Kollegen fachlich zu unterstützen. Optimierung von Designprozessen und Kundenlösungen – eigenständig oder in cross-funktionalen Spezialistenteams.
- Produktstandardisierung: Mitwirkung an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Traktionsproduktfamilien durch Standardisierung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung. Nutzen Sie Ihr Fachwissen, um Innovation in der Integration von Traktionskonvertern mit ESS voranzutreiben.
Anforderungen
- Expertise in Leistungselektronik: Qualifizierter Ingenieur im Bereich Leistungselektronik / Elektrotechnik mit fundiertem Hintergrund in Design und Engineering. Erfahrung mit Traktionskonvertern und Energiespeichersystemen ist von Vorteil.
- Neugier & kontinuierliches Lernen: Begeisterung für den stetigen Ausbau technischer Expertise, Förderung kontinuierlicher Verbesserung und Weitergabe von Wissen im Team – für eine Kultur des Wachstums und der Zusammenarbeit.
