Job summary

EPFL’s Laboratory of Visual Intelligence for Transportation (VITA) invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in 3D computer vision and generative AI, focused on remote sensing.

The successful candidate will develop new methods for remote sensing, exploring intersections of computer vision, machine learning, and human-robot interaction within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment at EPFL in Lausanne.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Vision is required.
• Background in Computer Science.
• Research experience in 3D Computer Vision, remote sensing and aerial imagery.
• Strong computational and analytical skills; experience with large datasets.
• Independent, creative, and solution-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
