Zusammenfassung

Agroscope, the Swiss federal centre of excellence for agriculture and food research, seeks a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich’s Agricultural Economics and Policy Group. You will work on two projects from 1 March 2027 to 31 July 2028, and 1 August 2028 to 31 July 2030, addressing biodiversity, legumes, dietary change, and emissions reduction in Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in agricultural economics or economics required.
• Experience with ex-ante optimization models and GAMS.
• Team-oriented and performance-driven.

Aufgaben

• Optimize a food system model to evaluate impacts on Switzerland’s food system across production, technology, trade, diet and policy.
• Assess synergies and trade-offs of different scenarios.
• Develop the food system model using cutting-edge methods.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary work packages and publish findings in journals.
• Support and analyze inputs for political and societal debates.
