Qualifikationen

• PhD in physics, chemistry or materials science is required.
• Strong experimental skills in solid-state electrochemistry and/or semiconductor photoelectrochemistry are essential.

Aufgaben

• Synthesize and process ceramic proton conductors and solid electrolytes.
• Characterize structures using X-ray and neutron diffraction.
• Investigate ionic transport with impedance spectroscopy and related electrochemical methods.
• Use synchrotron- and neutron-based spectroscopic techniques to study electronic and vibrational structures.
• Develop and validate quantitative physical models of charge transport and electrochemical conversion.
• Publish peer-reviewed papers and write research proposals.
