ETH Zurich's KOF Swiss Economic Institute invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher in applied macroeconomics and political economy. Based at KOF and affiliated with the Chair of Applied Macroeconomics, you will pursue independent and collaborative research.

You will work with macroeconomic and policy-relevant data, present at seminars and conferences, and contribute to teaching activities as needed. The position offers an engaging research environment in Zurich.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in economics completed by start date.
• Strong research record with working papers/publications.
• Solid econometrics, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research.
• Experience with Stata, R, or Python.

Aufgaben

• Develop and pursue independent and collaborative research projects.
• Design and implement empirical analyses using econometric methods.
• Present research at internal seminars, academic workshops and international conferences.
• Collaborate with researchers at the Chair, KOF and the wider ETH Zurich research community.
• Contribute to the research activities of the Chair and KOF, including regular research meetings and seminars.
