Job summary

blue Entertainment Group in Winterthur is seeking flexible, service-minded staff for on-call assignments in our cinema and sports bar. You will assist guests, upsell shop, cinema and bar offerings, and serve drinks and snacks.

We value German language skills, openness, teamwork and a proactive attitude. Evenings, weekends and public holidays require flexibility, with shifts across our venues in Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Experience in service or hospitality and interest in technical processes.
• Strong communication in German; other languages are a plus.
• Open, cheerful manner with a proactive, organized work approach.

Responsibilities

• Friendly, proactive and sales-oriented guest service and advice.
• Active sales and recommendation of shop, cinema and bar offerings.
• Preparation and serving of drinks and snacks in the sports bar.
• Maintain hygiene standards and assist with admission control and cleaning.
• Inventory management, cash register handling, and content control in auditoriums.
• Training and support of new employees; assist with events and technical areas.

Your area of responsibility

• Friendly, proactive and sales-oriented guest service and advice
• Active sales and recommendation of our entire shop, cinema and bar range
• Preparation and professional serving of drinks and snacks in the sports bar
• Ensuring a high level of service and compliance with hygiene regulations
• Admission control and cleaning work between screenings
• Inventory management including goods control and compliance with expiry dates
• Responsibility for the cash register and correct accounting
• Ensuring the quality of image, sound, lighting, air conditioning and screen content in all auditoriums
• Training and support of our new employees
• Handling, control and management of film and event content (DCP, keys, playlist)
• Technical support for events in the areas of audio, lighting, projection, presentation technology and media playback

Your profile

• We serve our guests 7 days a week, so we expect your willingness for evening and weekend shifts and you are ready to step in flexibly if needed
• You have experience in the service, gastronomy and service sector and bring understanding as well as interest in technical processes
• Strong communication skills with very good German; additional languages are an advantage
• With your open, cheerful manner you inspire our guests and actively approach them
• Enjoy active sales as well as the motivation to present and recommend our products convincingly
• Independent, reliable and service-oriented working style with high speed and efficiency awareness
• You remain calm in hectic situations, keep an overview and act proactivelyYou enjoy working in a team, show active willingness to help and proactively share your knowledge
