Zusammenfassung

United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) Beyond Lab is seeking a Programme Officer to oversee implementation, monitoring and evaluation of participatory policy innovation initiatives aligned with the 2030 Agenda. You will coordinate with partners, prepare analyses and manage documentation for reports and budgets.

Requirements include an advanced degree in a relevant field, at least five years of programme management experience, and English and French proficiency; German is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent is required (first-level degree with qualifying experience accepted)
• Experience in project or programme management, administration or related area (5+ years)
• Experience in UN system or international organizations desirable
• Experience in sustainable development/SDGs desirable
• Experience in resource mobilization and partnerships desirable

Aufgaben

• Participates in development, implementation and evaluation of programmes/projects on Beyond GDP and rethinking development systems
• Monitors and analyzes programme development; identifies issues and corrective actions
• Researches, analyzes and presents information from diverse sources
• Supports policy development related to the 2030 Agenda and SDGs with focus on inclusive policymaking
• Prepares briefing materials, background papers and reports
• Supports meetings and conferences with agenda topics, participants and documents
• Coordinates budget and funding activities and related documents/reports
• Engages with governments, civil society and other partners to support programme implementation
• Performs other duties as required
