Speechify is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs across public and internal services, including payment, subscription, and text-to-speech components.

You will help shape the backend landscape, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy and user experience.

Qualifikationen

• Backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js.

• Ability to translate product strategy into robust backend APIs.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API and internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience.
