Speechify is hiring for a key backend Platform role. You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public TTS and internal services for payments and subscriptions, while ensuring scalability and performance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with GCP and other clouds, plus Docker and Kubernetes, and thrive in a fast-paced, fully distributed team environment that values autonomy and impact.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Efficient ideation and implementation; prioritize tasks by urgency and impact.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Proficiency deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking, ensuring they meet business and scalability requirements.
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience.
