Your position

As a Plant Manager, you will take full responsibility for a highly specialized manufacturing site with advanced CNC automation. The plant operates in a lean structure and focuses on producing complex metal components and mold systems for the steel and glass industries. This role requires a hands‑on leadership approach, combining operational oversight with a clear focus on efficiency, safety and quality. You will act as an interface between headquarters and other international plants, supporting stable operations and continuous developments.

  • Managing all aspects of daily plant operations, ensuring production runs smoothly and targets are consistently achieved
  • Controlling costs and overseeing budgeting processes while conducting detailed monthly performance reviews to maintain financial efficiency
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance across the plant, implementing proactive measures to create and sustain a safe working environment
  • Leading and developing plant employees, fostering engagement, motivation, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Implementing process optimization initiatives, enhancing productivity, and ensuring operational excellence through hands‑on involvement

Your profile

  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, combined with a proactive, results‑oriented mindset
  • Several years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing and automated processes
  • Proven ability in cost control, budgeting, and efficiency improvement
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced in working with ERP systems

Nice to have: Knowledge of CNC machine processes, experience or insight in training or mentoring apprentices
