Proclinical in Switzerland is seeking an EI&C PI Engineer for a contract role to manage PI data and optimize related infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop analytics and KPI solutions, and ensure GxP documentation and data integrity in a regulated environment. English and/or German fluency required; EU passport or right to work in Switzerland.

Competenze

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong IT background, including servers, databases, networking, virtualization, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, Event Frames, PI Interfaces/Connectors, PI Analytics, PI SDK, AF SDK, and PI Web API.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments and GxP documentation.
• Fluent in English and/or German.

Mansioni

• Administer and maintain PI Data Archive interfaces and supporting infrastructure.
• Configure and support PI Asset Framework templates, hierarchies, attributes, and Event Frames.
• Develop and maintain PI Analytics, KPIs, calculations, and data evaluation solutions.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot interfaces between PI and DeltaV, PLCs, MES, LIMS, and enterprise apps.
• Develop integrations and applications using PI SDK, AF SDK, PI Web API, REST APIs, and SQL-based solutions.
• Support data sharing and reporting platforms, including Power BI.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, lifecycle management, upgrades, and patching.
• Create and maintain GMP/GxP documentation and support validation activities.
