The Lake Lucerne Institute (LLUI) invites applications for a PhD position focused on movement biomarkers in stroke recovery. Work includes markerless 3D motion capture, outcome modelling, and synthetic data evaluation in clinical and research settings.

Qualifikationen

  • Experience with computer vision for motion analysis.
  • Master’s degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Vision, Neuroscience, Health Science, Biomedicine, Physio- or Occupational Therapy, or related field.
  • Understanding of study design, scientific methods, and statistical modelling
  • Python, C# or equivalent language expertise
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning or deep learning

Aufgaben

  • Upper-limb markerless kinematics development and validation.
  • Translate kinematic outputs into clinician-friendly formats.
  • Scientific writing and dissemination.
  • Synthetic data generation and evaluation.
