Zusammenfassung

Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich is seeking a PhD candidate for developing multi-physics models of planar inductors and transformers. The role involves advanced modelling for power electronic systems essential in renewable energy integration and electric vehicles.

Qualifikationen

  • You must have a diploma/M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering with excellent grades.
  • Fundamental knowledge of power electronic converter systems.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Willingness to fully commit as part of an international team.
  • Interest in detailed modelling and design of magnetic components.

Aufgaben

  • Develop multi-physics models of planar inductors and transformers.
  • Optimize core and winding geometry based on developed models.
  • Design and build prototypes of PE converter systems.

Kenntnisse

Fluency in English
Knowledge of power electronic converter systems
Modelling and design of magnetic components
