Roche in Basel invites you to join the Pharmaceutical & Solid State Development team as an intern, supporting image-based machine learning workflows to classify spray-dried materials. You will work under supervision with Python and core data science libraries in a non-GMP environment and help advance analytical methods.

Qualifikationen

• University student or recent graduate (within 12 months) in a relevant field preferred.
• Interest in pharmaceutical sciences, data sciences, or chemistry.
• Eagerness to use Python and data science libraries for image processing.

Aufgaben

• Review literature relevant to the project.
• Train in SOPs and equipment used in manufacturing/analytical labs.
• Optimize analytical characterization methods for spray-dried materials.
• Apply machine learning to classify diverse particle shapes.
• Discuss project progress with supervisors and plan next steps.
• Summarize work in scientific reports and present results to Roche community.
