Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Consulting Partner to lead and scale its Pharma & Life Sciences practice in Switzerland, based in Zurich with travel to Basel. The role focuses on origination, expanding client relationships, and driving data/AI transformations across R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercial functions.

The candidate will lead senior stakeholders, oversee project delivery, and contribute to strategy and investment decisions for the Swiss practice.

Qualifications

12–15 years of experience in life sciences consulting.
8+ years serving pharma/biotech/medtech clients at a life sciences-focused consultancy or strategy/tech firm.
Proven origination track record with revenue.
Established network among Swiss life sciences decision-makers, esp. Basel/Zurich.
Working knowledge of GxP and computer system validation and their application to data/AI.
Fluent in English; German a plus.
Based in or willing to relocate to the Zurich area with travel to Basel.

Responsibilities

Scale the Swiss Life Sciences practice: offer, client base and team in coordination with Artefact's global healthcare and life sciences teams.
Grow existing client relationships and win new clients to broaden the portfolio.
Lead senior client stakeholders through data and AI transformation.
Oversee delivery and ensure regulatory compliance (GxP, validation, GDPR/EU AI Act).
Develop knowledge base: publish on AI in life sciences and turn Swiss work into references.
Hire and develop consultants with life sciences experience and staff engagements.
