Parts Engineer
Responsibilities
  • Identify engine parts ensuring highest level of data quality and response time for quotations and orders
  • Act as technical contact for parts quotations, orders, deliveries, and non-conformities
  • Build and maintain processes and procedures for parts operation support
  • Advise inventory planning as regards to obsolete stock and design messages
  • Structure code resolution for industry leading as-built data structures
  • Ensure training and knowledge sharing of local and international teams
  • Provide input and maintenance ideas on SAP S/4 HANA development requirements related to the stated responsibilities
Requirements
  • Completed vocational technical training or equivalent education.
  • Preferably further training as a technical marine engine specialist or technical merchant with federal certificate
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working with Two Stroke engines (technical/engineering)
  • High level of commitment, self-motivated and team player
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and all levels of employees.
  • High Technical understanding
  • A deep and long understanding of Two Stroke engine technology
  • Field Service experience is considered a plus
  • To understand technical and commercial specifications and drawings in English.
  • Good skills for MSO such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Being familiar and ready to work with our ERP system SAP S/4 HANA
  • Fluency in spoken and written English mandatory
  • Good knowledge of German
